Slovakia was shortlisted by a car maker
Slovakia was shortlisted by a car maker as a location for its new plant, said Finance Minister Peter Kažimír on Tuesday. “This is a well-known car maker, many of you drive its cars. I am surprised Slovakia was shortlisted. The result will be announced in coming months,“ he added. The fifth car plant in Slovakia would be built in Eastern Slovakia, despite its manifold problems including labor shortages. Media speculate Kažimír meant BMW. Previously, they speculated about Chinese electric car maker ZhiDou, part of Geely, which owns the Volvo brand.
