Automotive sector sales rose 7% last year and net profits 30%, according to companies’ financial results. Car plants Kia and Stellantis, as well as component makers SAS Automotive and ZF Slovakia did well. ZF manufactures clutches, automatic transmissions, and shock absorbers in Slovakia, employs 4,000 in six factories, and wants to establish a center for e-mobility and digital transformation here in three years.
