AZC (Ján Sabol) will produce wagons and biofuels in India

Czech wagon firm Nymwag from the portfolio of the AZC group (Ján Sabol) and Indian Texmaco Rail & Engineering, part of the Indian Adventz group, have established a joint venture, Texmaco Nymwag Rail & Components, which is investing €20m in a new plant in Kolkata, India. The plant, with a capacity of 2,400 railcars per year, is scheduled to start production this year.
AZC, together with India’s Zuari Industries, is building a plant turning rice into ethanol in northern India. Production will start this year with 2,000 employees, with a daily capacity of one million liters of biofuels.
