Creditors are trying to get their hands on assets of insolvent group Arca Capital

Creditors are trying to get their hands on assets of insolvent group Arca Capital (Rastislav Velič) before the group writes off debts or goes into bankruptcy. Recently, the Bratislava Regional Court imputed a lien on land owned by Arca Capital Slovakia (ACS) in Bratislava’s Dúbravka district. The creditors in question are Privatbanka (Penta) and law firm Fardous Partners, which represents a thousand small bond creditors who are owed €14m. The land is valued at €1.5m. The small creditors also managed to put a lien on the group’s companies, Delia and Twinlogy. However, the group claims that since the court has already started the process of ACS debt restructuring, creditors will not be able to seize the assets and sell them.
