Czechia’s Amtech took over Trnava factory of Robertshaw
Czechia’s Amtech (Radek Nekarda) has taken over the Trnava factory of the US Robertshaw group. The plant produces circuit board components for home appliances and had originally planned to close by the end of the year and lay off all 130 employees. The US firm is undergoing restructuring. The value of the deal was not disclosed. The new owner plans to link the plant with its Beams group. Amtech was advised in the deal by Czech branch of KPMG.
