Democracy suffers, Czech government wants nothing to do with the Slovak one
Attacks on the Constitutional Court are inappropriate, as well as dangerous for the rule of law and the separation of powers, said its chief justice, Ivan Fiačan. He was reacting to PM Robert Fico, who called on Fiačan to resign in the wake of a leak of the court's ruling on the Criminal Code amendment. Fiačan added that the court acts autonomously. He apologized for the leak, but did not consider it a reason to resign. (pravda.sk)
