FS, the tax authority, will cut the price of its binding opinions in tax matters to provide legal stability for businesses, says Finance Minister Eduard Heger (OĽaNO). The price stands at €2,000-30,000 now, depending on the business case. New fees will depend on taxpayers’ creditworthiness. Heger also aims to simplify the Accounting Act and archiving of documents, as well as shift from paper to electronic documents. FS will terminate a third of its 30 reporting duties. It will introduce a registered bank account, allowing companies to check that they are paying into a proper account that FS is aware of.
