Helgeheim plans to produce sterile injection solutions in Martin
Local pharmaceutical firm Helgeheim (Slavomír Petrík) plans to produce sterile injection solutions in Martin. Construction costs are planned at €15m and tens of millions more will go into technology. The production is expected to create 330 jobs once launched at the end of this year. The plant will fill injectable solutions into glass vials, syringes, and injection pens, with an annual capacity of 80m refills.
Injectable solutions are being produced in Martin by the Latvian company Grindeks with 350 employees, as well as by the largest Slovak pharmaceutical factory Saneca (Wood&Co and Ján Sabol).
