Ján Sabol‘s AZC had €3bn sales in 2024
The AZC group (Ján Sabol, Mikuláš Trstenský, Ján Ondruš and Robert Spišák) reported cumulative sales of over €3bn and pre-tax profit of €200m last year. It employs 8,000 people and, in addition to the CEE region, owns businesses in Brazil, Colombia, Georgia, Uzbekistan and India. It is active in the production of biofuels, pharmaceuticals, beverages, agriculture, rail transport and wagons. The group's largest companies include Envien, Exata, Railtrans, St. Nicolaus, Meroco, Saneca, the Starý otec grocery retailer and the Devín hotel in Bratislava.
