MAN will build its second Slovak plant
MAN, a German truck maker, plans to build a new plant and create 380 jobs in the industrial park Sihoť in Trenčín. Its subsidiary LKW Komponenten is already making truck components in nearby Bánovce nad Bebravou, employing 500. The new plant will also make truck components, moving production from Germany and Austria. Upon extension in 2023, the new plant will employ 850.
The park, owned by Saudi Arabia’s Sisban Holding, is already used by Vaillant, Vetropack and Nothegger.
