Metrostav favorite to extend highway between Oščadnica and Čadca

NDS, the national highway firm, received two bids in a tender for the extension to four lanes of the 5 km highway between Oščadnica and Čadca, including the Horelica tunnel, HN sources say. A Metrostav-led consortium reportedly offered the lowest price of €230m, while NDS expected €306m. The second bid was also supposed to be below this estimate.
