Metrostav will give Bratislava €19m

Construction company and developer Metrostav signed a contract with the city of Bratislava for the use of its land behind the McDonald's restaurant on Prievozská Street. The city has promised to change the zoning plan so that the developer can build a residential project with more than 1,000 apartments. The developer will in turn provide the city with €19m, of which €10m is in cash and the rest in the form of apartments in the new project. The developer has committed to completing the project within 18 years.
