Orange had record sales in 2022

Telecoms operator Orange posted a €28m increase in revenues to €570m last year thanks to price increases. Its previous record was €550m in 2018. Service revenue increased by €20m to €443m and equipment revenue by €8m to €127m. The number of mobile telephony clients fell by 37,000 to 2.441m, while the number of clients on fixed internet (up 29,000 to 321,000) and TV services (up 33,000 to 194,000) grew. Its 5G network covers a quarter of the population and the coverage is set to double this year.
