Penta is selling minority stake in its hospital holding
Penta will decide by the end of May whether and to whom to sell a minority stake in its hospital holding. Investment bank JP Morgan has been seeking potential investors since February, and several strategic as well as financial ones have already shown interest. The deal will involve 34 hospitals and 41 policlinics. Pharmacy chain Dr. Max and health insurer Dôvera will not be included.
In February, Penta sold its meat business, Mecom, to Smithfield Foods and a 39.5% stake in publisher Petit Press.
