Prices of new apartments in Bratislava 9.5% higher annually

Prices of new apartments in Bratislava were 9.5% higher annually in the final quarter of 2020, at €2,739 per sqm excluding VAT, according to data of Lexxus, a real estate agency. The price growth has stalled, though, as the price was just €11 higher compared to the previous quarter. The demand remains strong despite the pandemic, as supply is still weak and mortgages are record-cheap. About 2,115 new apartments were available in Bratislava, 3% less under an annual comparison. In the final quarter, 800 apartments were sold, a third more annually.
