Radio losing ground
Rádio Expres kept its position as market leader last year, with a market share of 21.8%, according to Median SK surveys. Rádio Slovensko (17.5%) and Fun rádio (13.1%) follow. Since 2015, the share of Slovaks listening to radio every day has shrunk from 68% to 55% and the time they listen to the radio has dropped by 25 to 110 minutes a day. Streaming services and podcasts are on the rise and quotas on Slovak music in local radio stations do not help them either.
