Recovery Facility subsidies moved from U.S. Steel to hospitals

The government will this week approve a €400m change to the Recovery Facility. Some €293m will be transferred from the decarbonization of U.S. Steel Košice to reconstruction of hospitals, nurseries and primary schools. The steel mill will not make the planned investment, so the money will go to projects that were submitted within previous calls but failed due to lack of money. This is to ensure that they will be completed on time. The rest of the money will go towards new trains and tree planting. Another change in the Facility is that the Justice Ministry will abolish the centralized court management system and will slow down its renovation of court buildings.
