In the first quarter of 2025, people in the Košice region paid the most for lunch in restaurants, €9.51. Nitra with €9.05 and Žilina with €8.83 followed, Edenred data show. Despite the VAT cut on restaurant meals, the average price for lunch has risen to €8.39 from €8.30 in 2024.
