Schaeffler expands in Slovakia

The Ministry proposed a €3m investment incentive (income tax break) for a €22.6m investment by German automotive supplier Schaeffler in its plant in Kysucké Nové Mesto. The plant will expand the production of front and rear axles for electric cars, creating 11 jobs by the end of 2026.
Schaeffler employs 8,000 in Slovakia and has annual revenues of over €1bn. It has production plants in Kysucké Nové Mesto and Skalica, plus a shared services center in Žilina.
