Slovnaft invested record €330m last year

Crude oil refinery Slovnaft invested a record €330m in maintenance and new technologies last year. The main project was the preparation for processing of non-Russian crude oil, with a total investment of €192m. A significant amount was also spent on the ethylene unit, which is key to plastics production. The production capacity of the polypropylene unit was increased by a tenth to 300,000 tons per year. Last year Slovnaft also opened four new gas stations, increasing their total to 238. In 2025-26, investments are set to reach €350m.
