Tax authority FS demanded bribes from Medusa
Peter Štecko, the owner of the Medusa restaurant chain, paid bribes of thousands of euros a month, totaling at least €234,000, to tax authority FS top officials in 2017-20 to stop police raids on his restaurants full of guests. He later reported the bribes to police, who have already charged the former head of the FS anti-fraud dept, Ladislav Hanniker, former FS vice-president, Daniel Čech, and former head of the Bratislava Customs Office, Milan Gutjan. The payment of bribes was mediated by Michal Suchoba.
